August Featured Artists

Our Gallery is free. We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Dana Conner

Dana Conner is an avid admirer of the majestic creatures in both wildlife and sea life. Using pastels, Dana transforms her passion to paper by capturing every detail of her subject in their natural habitat. Dana finds her inspiration for the fauna of many regions and marine life through her own photography.

Dana’s appreciation for wildlife began at a young age. However, it was not until 2012 that she was able to dedicate time to her art. Dana set out on her journey as an artist with the use of colored pencils. In 2017, Dana began using soft and hard chalk pastels to exquisitely bring her pieces to life. Dana’s use of pastels are as natural to her as her fondness for wildlife and sealife.

Shumba Masani.jpg

Manatho Shumba Masani is a metal sculptor and up-cycling aficionado! He weaves skins for his colorful safari animals using soda cans, beer cans, and any kind of can he can find. This master artist is leading the eco-art movement with his company: Canimals! Handcrafted Sculpture. Inspired by his years of study in Zimbabwe, Shumba returned stateside to clean up his corner of the world one “can” at a time by turning what some may consider trash into high-end art. His gallery is a “must see” spot for travelers local and abroad. His sculptures have a unique message for the eye open enough to behold it: reminding us all to care for the earth future generations will inherit, by keeping it "CAN-tastic” !
